2012 Radiothon

To our caring donors,              

The Board of Directors would like to personally thank you for your past donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation.  Your generous support over the past eight years has enabled us to purchase over 1.4 Million dollars of medical equipment for your hospital! 

Because of you, we have been able to purchase medical equipment that was urgently needed for many different departments at the Kincardine Hospital and it is making us more efficient.     

This year our Health Care Heroes Radiothon (CKNX, BULL 94.5, 920AM) equipment goal is to purchase Endoscopic Scope Equipment.  The cost for this state of the art equipment is $93,178.00 and will be of great use to our newly hired Surgeon.

2011 Radiothon

Thank you to everyone who donated to our 10th Anniversary CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon Project – 3 Cart Dispensing Units. 

The 3 Dispensing Carts will be used to dispense the medication with individually labeled bar code packaging to the patient which match’s the labeled bar code on the patient's wristband.

Having this piece of equipment will reduce errors to almost NIL.  It has CPOE - Computer Patient Order Entry which is virtually fool proof.

We raised over our goal of $75,000.00 towards this piece of equipment. 

The 10th Annual CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon held Saturday October 15, 2011 collected over $891,000 in donations and will provide much needed equipment at the 16 participating hospitals.

2010 Radiothon

Thank you to everyone who donated to the 2010 Radiothon!  Because of your support, we were able to purchase a Bone Mineral Density Machine for the Kincardine Hospital!

2009 Radiothon

The Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation owes a big thank you to all the individuals, groups and businesses that generously supported our Health Care Heroes Radiothon equipment project.

Thanks to your genoristy we were able to replace the Hematology Analyser for the Laboratory.
