CAPITAL CAMPAIGN MANAGER
Are you a positive, dynamic person who thrives when shaping and executing fundraising campaigns? Do you take pride in your ability to work closely with an internal team, mostly volunteers, as well as donors and the local community?
If so, why not join our “Building Healthcare for Generations” fundraising team? We have one purpose - to raise funds to expand and modernize the Kincardine hospital (part of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre) and contribute to excellence in local, rural health care. The Capital Campaign Manager will be part of a collaborative team that will work with and support you every step of the way!


Our Capital Campaign Manager will:
• Work with the Foundation’s Capital Campaign Committee to plan and execute all aspects of the Building Health Care for Generations campaign.
• Build a portfolio of major donor prospects.
• Prepare quarterly budgets, write monthly progress reports, track donations realized against targets.
• Build an effective communication plan, including social media and campaign webpage.
• Implement a variety of marketing strategies, promotional campaigns and fundraising events.
• Act as a spokesperson for the Campaign at community presentations and media events.
• Deliver a wide range of donor recognition and appreciation.
• Engage donors and practice good donor stewardship at every opportunity.
• Support the Campaign Committee and its Co-chairs, and/or the Foundation and its President.
• Develop a strong working relationship with the Foundation Coordinator to ensure alignment of Foundation goals and to maintain accurate donor information.
You will report immediately to the Co-chairs of the Capital Campaign Committee. However, your ultimate responsibility will be to the Foundation Board of Directors.


The Capital Campaign Manager must:
• Understand the importance of a rural, local hospital in the community.
• Be enthusiastic and positive!
• Possess strong leadership and business skills.
• Nurture respectful relationships with our board, donors, sponsors and the community.
• Communicate simply and clearly for internal and external audiences.
• Possess strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Quickly learn DonorPerfect and/or other software.
• Provide a current Criminal Record Check upon request.
• Work some evenings and weekends.


Skills and Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of fundraising or marketing experience.
• Familiarity with website design, marketing and social media.
• Demonstrated presentation skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Post-secondary education in a related field preferred.

What we can offer you:
• A four-year employment contract position at a salary commensurate with experience.
