The Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation celebrates the generosity of the people, businesses and organizations in our service area. The Foundation is sincerely grateful of this support and thanks each and every person who has supported the hospital.
Past Events
2024 RADIOTHON
Proceeds from the 2024 Radiothon went towards our new state-of-the-art Hematology Analyzer. The Hematology analyzer process CBCs (Complete Blood Counts) and provides the physician with valuable information on the patient, including White Blood Cell Count, Red Blood Cell Count and Hemoglobin levels.
A CBC is one of the most common tests ordered and supports both the Emergency Department and the Inpatient Unit and provides critical information for trauma patients.
This equipment is being replaced at the Kincardine site to standardize as part of the Inter Hospital Labor-atory Partnership, and the current equipment is not well suited for the growing workload at the Kincardine site.
Your support from our past Radiothons have helped us purchase hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical equipment for the Kincardine Hospital. Our capital list for medical equipment never stops growing and your generosity and continued support is appreciated!
